This week, we had a chance to visit with one of our excellent Process Technicians, Dianna Lesnet. Dianna has been a Royer team member for nearly 6 years and can always be counted on to keep our machines running well for our operators! She is also a member of our Safety Committee.
Please take a few moments to get to know Dianna, a valued member of our “Swizzle Stick Squad” here at Royer!
Q: How long have you been employed at Royer?
Dianna: This April will be my 6-year anniversary at Royer.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your job as a Process Technician?
Dianna: I love working with the operators, knowing that I fix their machines to make them run better. I love learning something new every day. It is always a never ending job & can sometimes be stressful – but I love it!
Q: What does a typical day at work consist of for a Process Technician?
Dianna: Every day, I come in and take numbers, answer red alert lights & set up molds when we have a change over. I also set up the color feeders and cut foil for jobs that need it. When I’m not busy, I’ll help with breaks and help operators get caught up if they are behind.
Q: Tell us a fun fact about yourself that your colleagues at Royer may not know!
Dianna: I live on a farm. I love working & feeding the cows, pigs & goats! I love plowing the grounds to get ready to plant!
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world for a vacation, where would it be and why?
Dianna: I would love to go to a lot of places, but most of all, Texas – because I’m a big country girl!
Q: What is your favorite music genre? Any favorite artists or songs?
Dianna: Country is my favorite but I listen to old rock, too. I don’t have favorite artists or songs, they are all good!
Q: Are you a sports fan? If so, who are your favorite teams?
Dianna: I really don’t watch sports or have a favorite. I watch cartoons with my 3-year-old grandbaby all day!
Q: What are some of your hobbies outside of work?
Dianna: Playing with my grandbaby, farming & going on country drives. I also like camping out, having big bonfires & roasting hot dogs!
Q: If you could purchase a Royer product for your own personal use, what would it be and why?
Dianna: Some of the stirrers are really cool, but I would like to have one made with my name on it!
