Our History

Mr. Roger Royer and Mr. Dean Long founded our Company in Hamilton, Ohio in 1970 under the name Gadgeteria, Inc. Beginning in the basement of Mr. Royer’s home, using a small homemade molding machine, the Company began producing custom designed drink stirs and advertising specialties for local restaurants and businesses. Using a special technique for constructing the molds for these items at a relatively low cost the company was able to expand its sales and in 1971 moved into a small plant in Hamilton, Ohio.

In 1976 the Company was sold to Madison Plastics, Inc. and its factory was moved to Madison, Indiana and integrated in the Madison Plastics Operation. Here it fell upon hard times. Its customers went elsewhere, much of the equipment was lost or sold and operations virtually came to a standstill. In September of 1977 the Company was bought by Guy Kitchens, an independent factory was re-established, new equipment purchased, and once again the Company began to grow.

With a goal of growth and expansion Royer purchased the recently vacant US Shoe factory building in late 1998. After updating and remodeling this building, Royer moved all operations to this new, much larger facility in February 1999. Today, though still small, the Company is financially sound and with new advances in methods and technology the future has never looked so promising.

In the period from 1999 until now, Royer Corporation has become an industry leader in the manufacturing and custom decoration of plastic promotional products.

Royer specializes in custom plastic injection molding and decoration. In this process, molten plastic is injected into a special mold creating plastic parts. Virtually any size, shape and color are possible. Royer also specializes in custom imprinting and decoration of our promotional products. Our capabilities include:

Our Home – Madison, IN

The company's offices and factory are in Madison, Indiana. Madison is located on the banks of the Ohio River in the southeastern corner of the state. An historic town of 15,000 people, it was founded in 1809 and was one of Indiana's earliest settlements. Today, Madison's designation as a National Historic District recognizes her unique heritage and architecture.
